Welcome to Menopause NI.
Founded by Siobhan Kearney our aim is to to raise awareness about perimenopause and menopause.
Todoe deliver expert workplace training, practical support, and reliable information to empower individuals and organisations to understand this important stage of life.
The change starts here.
Siobhan Kearney is the driving force behind Menopause NI. As a former CEO of a mental health charity, and having worked in the area of menopause awareness for the past 7 years, she brings a wealth of experience in designing and delivering menopause programmes and workshops, all with the central aim of raising awareness of the menopause and the impact is has on women's lives.
Our mission is to ensure that no woman embarks on her menopausal journey feeling isolated, and that menopause becomes a topic of open conversation in homes, communities, and workplaces all across Northern Ireland.
At Menopause NI, we specialise in empowering individuals and workplaces to navigate menopause with confidence and understanding.
Through our tailored education and training programmes, we equip businesses with the tools to create menopause-inclusive environments while supporting individuals on their menopause journey.
Our flagship Menopause ChangeMaker Programme is designed to break the stigma surrounding menopause. It is an intensive 4 hour programme that creates workplaces and communities where menopause is understood and supported. Our workplace programme trains individuals to be the in house ChangeMaker, with knowledge, skills and understanding to help support others who may be experiencing difficult symptoms at work.
At Menopause NI, we are dedicated to supporting both individuals and workplaces as they navigate the menopause journey. We provide tailored solutions to help you prioritize well-being and implement meaningful change.
For individuals, we offer expert guidance and support through a network of associates, providing access to resources and training to manage menopause symptoms with confidence.
For workplaces, we help you take proactive steps to develop menopause-friendly policies, provide essential support to employees, and foster a culture of empathy and understanding. Our training programmes equip your staff with the knowledge and skills to raise awareness, offer support, and create an inclusive environment where menopause is openly discussed and respected.
Together, we can create a more supportive and informed approach to menopause, benefitting both your employees and your organisation as a whole.
The very first step is to understand what is happening to you and understand the symptoms of the menopause. The symptom checker will help you get to know the changes that are happening to you. Whether these are physical or mental health and emotional changes, it is important that you recognise them.
This is also a useful tool for you to use when talking to your GP about your symptoms and will enable you to make informed choices. If you are concerned about the impact the menopause is having on your life then speaking with your GP is the best thing you can do.
Sometimes we just need someone to talk to. Whether you need support on managing your mood, explaining your perimenopause or menopause symptoms, are finding it difficult to manage your weight or body shape, have lost your confidence, or simply need a listening ear, we are here to help and give you menopause support.
Our Associates bring together a huge wealth of knowledge and expertise, and you can access their details by clicking on the links below.

Being a ChangeMaker for the menopause in work or in your community is an excellent way to support others who may be experiencing difficult symptoms of the menopause.
